Parents Club - Sober Grad Night parents
What Can Parents Do? A group of parent volunteers begins meeting as much as a year before the event. The activities include fundraising, ticket sales, entertainment, food, decorating, and prizes. Sub-committees are set up to work on the various areas and the sub-committee chairpersons meet monthly to coordinate the planning. Everyone is invited to attend and lend ideas. Sub-committees are: entertainment, prizes, food, donations, decorations, set-up/clean-up, ticket sales, keepsakes, security, and registration/check-in. Our monthly meetings will generally be held the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Meetings will not be held on days when school is not in session. The dates, time, or place are subject to change so please continue to check this web site for any updates. Parents of all grade levels are invited to attend and get involved. We need Freshman, Sophomore and Junior Parents to volunteer for this event. Location for Monthly Meetings are in the Career Center Room 503 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Looking for interested Oakmont Parents who want to Head a Committee and /or be a Volunteer for the 2011 Sober Grad Night. Help is always needed, even if you can’t attend the meetings. There are lots of ways to help - help on various committees; help with fundraisers, make a donation (cash, prizes, supplies) and more.
