Last Friday the 2-2 Antioch Panthers came into Oakmont stadium to play the 2-1 Oakmont Vikings. The Vikings had won two games in a row and were confident going the game.

Oakmont came out for the game ready to play. The Vikings defense forced a fumble 0n the games opening drive and the Vikings never looked back.

Senior quarterback Alex Ford competed 21 of his 23 pass attempts and threw for 237 yards with 3 touchdowns. Senior running back Alex Cook ran for 66 yards and had a rushing touchdown.

When the game ended the final score was 28-14 was an Oakmont victory. The Vikings are 3-1 and are looking to continue their winning streak this Friday when Davis comes to Oakmont, and tries to do what Antioch, Mesa Verde and Pittman failed to do- beat the Oakmont Vikings.
